PURPOSE: A 3-way power distributor using a two-level Chebyshev impedance transformer is provided to reduce an insertion loss and broaden a bandwidth by installing the first and the second impedances. CONSTITUTION: The first impedance transformer(12) is formed at a rear end portion of an input impedance(10) in order to improve a standing-wave ratio characteristic and a bandwidth characteristic. The second impedance transformer(13) is formed between the first impedance transformer(12) and an output impedance(11) in order to obtain an in-phase and an equal insertion loss in an output port. An impedance value(Z1) of the first impedance transformer(12) is determined as Z1/3. The electric length of transmission lines of the first and the second impedances(12,13) is λg/4. A two-level Chebyshev impedance transformer is formed by the first and the second impedances(12,13). An impedance matching between an input port and an output port is formed by the first and the second impedances(12,13). |
