LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY AND METHOD OF FABRICATING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display and a method of fabricating the liquid crystal display are provided to maintain a cell gap of the liquid crystal display without distributing spacers and to improve response reliability. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display includes the first substrate on which TFTs(40) for driving liquid crystal are formed in an array form, the second substrate on which a color filter for representing colors is formed, a gate line(42) and a data line(44) formed on the first substrate. The data line intersects the gate line and applies a graphic data signal to the TFTs. A metal supporter(52) is formed on the first substrate to maintain a cell gap between the first and second substrates.
