A method of screening an antibody against a target protein contained in a sample at a high efficiency. A sample containing plural proteins is subjected to two-dimensional electrophoresis and thus the above-described proteins are developed as individual spot proteins on the two-dimensional electrophoretic gel. Then the spot proteins thus developed are visualized by transcribing onto a solid phase. After isolating, individual proteins are reacted with a phage antibody library. The antibodies bonded to the spot proteins are replicated and the replicated antibodies are reacted with the above-described spot proteins once or more, thereby screening an antibody against a specific protein in the sample containing the plural proteins. As the sample containing plural proteins, it is favorable to use a sample which has been obtained by isolating and purifying a cell sub-fraction or eliminating posttranslational modification.
|
