METHOD FOR GENERATING NEIGHBOR BTS LIST IN CELLULAR SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for generating a neighbor BTS(Base Transceiver Station) list in a cellular system is provided to improve the reliability of a system and efficiently operate the system by automatically generating an accurate neighbor BTS list as to an established BTS. CONSTITUTION: If a BTS is established, the predetermined number of candidate BTSs is determined using latitude and longitude information of the increased BTS and latitude and longitude information of other BTSs(S210). The predetermined number of neighbor BTSs is determined using the sector-classified antenna direction of the determined candidate BTSs(S220). Information of the determined neighbor BTSs is generated as a neighbor BTS list(S230).
