PURPOSE: A low speed piston valve for a shock absorber is provided to control damping force linearly at low speed by modifying plural disk springs combined with the lower part of the piston valve. CONSTITUTION: A piston body(13) having plural orifices(11,12) is formed in a piston rod(2), and a washer(14), an intake spring(15), a retainer(16) and an intake valve(17) are combined with the upper part of the piston body. A disk spring of a piston valve is composed of a first disk spring(30) having a round opening part connected to an extension orifice; a second ring shaped disk spring(40) having the same full diameter as the first disk spring; a third disk spring(50) having the same full diameter as the first disk spring and the second disk spring, and plural slits(51) in the edge in the lower part of the second disk spring; a spacer(42) keeping space between the first disk spring and the third disk spring; and plural disk springs installed in the lower part of the third disk spring. The retainer and the washer are assembled with the lower part of the disk spring. Damping force is controlled linearly at low speed with modifying plural disk springs.
