PURPOSE: A wheel of a wheelchair using the principle of an overlapped rotating lever is provided to enable the wheelchair to be moved easily even with a weak force, thus allowing a handicapped person to easily drive the wheelchair even on a slope way. CONSTITUTION: In a wheelchair having both wheels installed at both sides of a chair body, and a handy wheel installed around the outer periphery of the wheel to which a driving force is applied, a mechanism composed of a rod shaped handle(22) formed at the outer contour of the wheel, a plate shaped circular support part(24) having plural inner projections(26), and a wheel fastening piece(28) and a wheel fixing boss(30) is mounted across the wheel and the handy wheel.
