PURPOSE: A method for allocating fault information of a switch is provided to perform fault process in a new configuration without stopping a service by allocating fault information to configuration information changed during the operation of the service according to automation or the request of an operator. CONSTITUTION: Configuration information which exists in a system is collected when setting the system, and fault information is allocated as a state capable of fault process(S100). Fault information as to a hardware configuration added during the operation a service by an operator is allocated(S200). Fault information as to a hardware configuration deleted during the operation of the service by the operator is deleted(S300).
