PURPOSE: A device for reducing stopping distance in a vehicle is provided to reduce stopping distance by operating a brake pedal while separating the brake pedal from an acceleration pedal. CONSTITUTION: A stopping distance reducer of a vehicle comprises a piston interlocking with an acceleration pedal(100); a cylinder assembly(3) mounted on the piston; a connecting rod(5) connecting the cylinder assembly to a brake pedal(102); a hinge shaft(6) engaging the connecting rod with a supporting bracket(7); a piston rod(9) moved according to rotation of the acceleration pedal; a bypass passage bypassing air of a cylinder; a check valve installed on the piston; and along hole formed on the connecting rod. Thereby, the stopping distance reducer of the vehicle reduces stopping distance by operating the brake pedal. The brake pedal is operated by being separated from an acceleration pedal.
