PURPOSE: A sink roll for preventing groove marks from being formed on a strip is provided which improves corrosion resistance in molten zinc of a high temperature, minimizes the groove marks generated on the surface of the strip by changing processing type of grooves, and increases strength of a sleeve part. CONSTITUTION: In a sink roll which is installed in a galvanizing bath so that a direction of the strip is changed in a production line of a galvanized strip, the sink roll for preventing groove marks from being formed on the strip is characterized in that two lines are formed parallel to each other toward end parts of both sides of the body(100a) by processing grooves(5a-5d) starting from arbitrary two points(p1,p2) of the center of the body(100a) on the outer circumferential surface of a body(100a), thereby increasing pitches of each grooves(5a-5d) so as to increase a discharging rate of the molten zinc, wherein shafts(140) projected to both sides of the body(100a) and sleeves(150) pressed and connected to the shafts(140) are made of the same material so as to minimize a gap generated by thermal expansion, thereby greatly increasing rotation performance of the sink roll, and wherein each of the grooves(5a-5d) are consisted of inner and outer corners boundary surfaces of which are formed in a round shape so as to effectively prevent fusion protrusions from being formed on the interface of the grooves(5a-5d).
