PURPOSE: To provide an AC generator for vehicle capable of avoiding expansion of coil end group in the radial direction, reducing wind noise and suppressing increasing of temperature of a stator. CONSTITUTION: In the AC generator, six pieces of single phase coils are winded to slots provided two at every pole and phase. Each single phase coil 30 has two pieces of wave winding coils 31A, 31B formed with winding conductive wires 32 at a determined number of times in a wave pattern composed of slot storage parts 31a spaced at six slot pitches in the circumferential direction and crossing parts 31b connecting alternatively an end part with another end part of adjacent slot storage parts 31a in the axial direction, the coils 31A, 31B are winded to a slot 15a to oppose to the crossing parts 31b with six slots of deviation in the circumferential direction.
