An electrical connection mechanism used in a miniature light bulb string mainly comprises a block or plug that can be inserted into the lower portion of a bulb holder shell. The block or plug is provided with a U-shaped conductor plate that presses against two opposite conductive terminals when it is seated in the shell to form an electrical connection between the terminals.
