The cell culture apparatus (12) preferably comprises a frame (18); at least one gas permeable membrane (31) securedly sealed in a leak-proof sealing to a frame (18) and an opposing surface (32) comprising a rigid surface in forming a culture chamber (40) therebetween; and at least one resealable aperture (23) to allow substances to be introduced into, or withdrawn from, the culture chamber (40).</p> |
