PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PURPOSE: A plasma display panel is provided to prevent a mis-writing effect and increase discharge efficiency by improving a structure of an electrode in the plasma display panel. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel has the first to the third sustain electrodes(SY,SZ,S'Z) formed on a front substrate and address electrodes formed on a rear substrate. The first sustain electrode(SY) includes a transparent electrode(36Y) and a metal bus electrode(38Y). A scan pulse is supplied to the first sustain electrode(SY) during an address period. A sustain pulse is applied to the first sustain electrode(SY) during a sustain period. The second and the third sustain electrodes(SZ,S'Z) include transparent electrodes(36Z,36'Z) and metal bus electrodes(38Z,38'Z), respectively. The second sustain electrode(SZ) generates a starting discharge of a sustain discharge by the sustain pulse. The third sustain electrode(S'Z) generates a sustain discharge with the first sustain electrode(SY) by the sustain pulse.
