This invention provides a roof structure (10) including a plurality of roof sheets (12) each comprising an elongate triangular panel having a stiffening formation in the form of an elongate triangular rib formation (12,5) extending partially along the length of the panel (12). One side of each panel (12) is provided with a connecting formation in the form of an elongate ridge formation for mating with an elongate groove formation provided on an opposite side of an adjacent panel. The roof structure (10) further includes a connecting formation (16) connecting the upper ends (12.1) of the roof sheets (12) together. The roof structure (10) can be erected in a relatively short time and a substantial amount of money is saved because it does not require any rafters or beams. Further saving is achieved in that it does not require a permanent central support for supporting the apex of the roof.
