PURPOSE: A method for supplying moving picture information is provided to enable a moving picture information provider to supply moving picture information for all Internet users through the Internet without constructing a system for supplying information. CONSTITUTION: A moving picture information connection stream server monitors an index mode continuously for recognizing an entrance of a moving picture information request through a web host(S200). If moving picture information is requested during a monitoring, the moving picture information connection stream server recognizes the request(S210) and reads moving picture information requested in a moving picture information service database(S220). The moving picture information connection stream server judges whether a search word is existed in the index mode(S230). If a search word is existed in the index mode, the moving picture information connection stream server searches a search index in the moving picture information connection stream server, and extracts position information of moving picture information stored in the database(S240). The moving picture information connection stream server takes a corresponding moving picture information contents which position information is extracted in the database(S250). The moving picture information connection stream server converts the taken moving picture information into a media player video type information(S260), and transmits the converted information to an Internet user(S270).
