<p>Invention is related to the field of electronics and can be used OF manufacturing information displays, in particular, liquid crystal (LC) indicators, screens, panels etc. The object of the present invention is to manufacture less sophisticated and less expensive displays possessing similar wide viewing angle as the known ones and to propose simpler method of their manufacturing. To achieve the object a multidomain display comprising two parallel substrates with the faced to each other surfaces having pixel array is made, a relief is formed on at least one of the substrates, that relief has a form of at least one set of parallel closely displaced alternating protrusions and grooves of arbitrary cross-section and orientation, which are placed so closely, that when the potential difference is applied to the opposite electrodes on both substrates, the liquid crystal is reoriented in the direction governed by the relief pattern and parallel to the protrusions.</p> |
