A tanker for the transport of solid products in powder or granules, comprising a sheet-metal hull consisting of a cylindrical body(1) and at least one conical feedbox (2), in which said hull comprises at least one cover (3) having a surface with a bending radius variable in continuity, that works as a connection between said cylindrical body (1) and said conical feedbox (2). The process for the manufacturing of the tanker comprises at least one phase of pressing a mould with a hydraulic press for sheet, for obtaining segments (3a, 3b) having surfaces with a bending radius variable in continuity joined by a head-to-head welding.
