A rotor armature for an electric machine is provided with an armature ring (3), with permanent magnets (6), which are fixed to the outer circumferential surface (5) of the armature ring and which are distributed over the circumference, and with an annular device (R). Said annular device protects the permanent magnets (6) from the centrifugal forces that occur as the rotor armature (1) rotates. The annular device (R) comprises retaining elements (9, 9', 21, 31, 41, 51), which are provided for the permanent magnets (6) and which flank the armature ring (3) and the permanent magnets (6) on their lateral surfaces (10, 11) pointing in the direction of the rotation axis (A). Said retaining elements (9, 9', 21, 31, 41, 51) are fixed to the armature ring (3) and are acted upon in a radial direction while the rotor armature (1) rotates. |
