METHOD FOR DYNAMICALLY MANAGING ADDRESS OF BASE STATION IN IMT-2000 SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for dynamically managing an address of a base station in an IMT-2000(International Mobile Telecommunication) system is provided to efficiently and stably manage the base station by dynamically assigning the address of a moved base station in a BSC(Base Station Controller). CONSTITUTION: An address of a base station(18) to be newly installed is assigned to a certain card of a base station connection unit(10n) of a BSC(10). The assigned address of the base station is downloaded in the base station(18) to be newly installed. The new base station(18) communicates with the BSC(10) using the assigned address. The address of the new base station(18) is assigned to the certain card of the base station connection unit(10n) by a computer which manages addresses of base stations in the BSC(10).
