PURPOSE: A system and method for checking electric optical head of guided object seeker are provided to reduce a test space and energy consumption by using a small external coil as a target. CONSTITUTION: A system includes an electric optical head(EOH:201); a rotary table(203); a rotary platform(202); an external electromagnetic device; a look angle mirror(204); an electric control panel(208); a computer(214); and a measuring device. The EOH has a gyroscope, detecting, distinguishing and tracing a target. The rotary table rotates the EOH. The rotary platform rotates and supports the rotary table. The external electromagnetic device is an external coil(205) caging the gyroscope of the EOH. The look angle mirror tilts the gyroscope caged by the external electromagnetic device. The electric control panel controls the EOH, the rotary table, the rotary platform, the external electromagnetic device and the look angle mirror. The computer receives signal from the electric control panel to display and store. The measuring device is an oscilloscope(209) and an alternating current root-mean-square(RMS) volt meter(210) calibrating the external electromagnetic device and measuring output of signals.
