METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING HUB OF AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a hub of an automatic transmission is provided to form a boss spline and an outer spline of the hub with only one process, and to devise promptness and convenience of work. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing a hub of an automatic transmission comprises the steps of blanking a steel plate into a preform; forming a boss to the center of the preform by using a drawing process; piercing a fluid passage hole in the preform formed with the boss; and performing a cold forging of the preform by blocking the preform with a ring punch(8) and a lower die cushion(9) of a press and compressing it with a center punch(10), after heating the preform at a room temperature.
