PURPOSE: A door hinge unit is provided to lead a smooth operation of opening/closing the door and to conveniently control the opening/closing velocity depending on positions of the door by applying a flowing-resistance of fluid having specified viscosity. CONSTITUTION: The door hinge unit comprises an oil carrying device(10) having grooves(14) along a direction of circumference within a cylindrical inner wall side and containing viscous fluid; a hinge axis(20) projected in axial direction of the oil carrying device and having a sliding blade(21) contacted to the inner wall side; a barrier(11) formed across a space between the inner wall side and the outer circumference of the hinge axis; and a returning spring(40) coupled to the oil carrying device at one end and the hinge axis at the other end of the spring.
