The adjustable vertical aligner of lightweight empty packaging containers, etc. includes multiple compartments (6) with a closed-circuit locator (7), each receiving and having front and rear supports (11,12) for the container. Chutes (8) receive the containers via a stationary plate (9) located to leave a gap (10) for fall of the containers. The falling containers assume the vertical position, aligned with the equipment for further handling of them. The front wall (8a) of each chute is linked to a locator (19) moving with locator and giving uniform alignment of walls. A locator (14) also moving with locator gives uniform alignment of the supports in all the compartments. |
