<p>A device, including a recycled polymeric material comprising polyvinyl butyral, the polyvinyl butyral preferably being reclaimed from laminated windscreens. The polyvinyl butyral may be mixed with a filler, such as an inorganic filler, and a pigment. The device may be formed into a sheet, such as a waterproof membrane, having an extension retained preferably by freezing. Also claimed is a method of making the device, the method comprising mixing the polyvinyl butyral and optionally forming the mixture into a sheet.</p> |
