A bearing (3), for locating a steering shaft (1) in a housing (4), is characterised in that the bearing inner ring (8) is provided with an integral moulded cylindrical extension (11) in a least one axial direction, connected to the bearing race (9)and pressed onto the steering shaft (1) by means of said extension (11), whereby through holes (12) are arranged in the cylindrical extension (11), through which a circlip (13) positively engages in a groove (26) on the steering shaft (1).
