A conventional armature has a laminate bundle which leads to a high magnetic flux loss in the sheet laminate as said bundle completely surrounds the magnets arranged within the sheet laminate. A novel armature (1), according to the invention, comprises at least one sheet laminate (1) which only partly surrounds the magnets (24). Losses in magnetic flux are thus reduced.
