Device for targeted movement of an electronic component (3) onto a contact socket (8) using a handling device (2). The device comprises a tilting mirror (12) for reflection of sound or light waves so that they can be used to view both the electronic component contact surface (4) and the contact side (6) of the contact socket. Positioning is then accomplished using a fixed or variably positioned measurement device that can be used to control movement of the electronic component.
