Arrangement for positioning an upright person for the purpose of taking radiographic images. Arrangement comprises a horizontally and vertically displaceable platform (1) on which a person (3) stands. Handles and supports (4) are provided to help in steadying the person. Lastly supports (5, 6) are provided for X-ray film cassettes. Additional supports can be provided for the knee or calf.
