A sensing system for an agricultural combine (10) that measures crop material flow between the threshing system (22) and the sieves (32). A number of sampling positions are provided along the longitudinal axis of the threshing system (22). A sensing member (40) with a vibration sensor (42) is provided at each sampling position to measure the volume of material flow between the threshing system (22) and the sieves (32).
