An adapter placed between and joined to both noise plug (1) and ornament (6) consists of an open-ended sleeve (2) with open end (3) dimensioned to allow the plug (1) to be pressed into it (3). This end (3) of the sleeve has inwards projections (8) for plug retention. The second open end (4) of the sleeve allows the ornament (6) to be fitted to it using a bonded magnetic plate (5) for the magnetizable plate (7) on the ornament. This sleeve end (4) has outwards projections (9) for easy insertion into the external ear passage.
