PURPOSE: A seat belt is provided to protect an occupant from being damaged by constantly maintaining an initial winding force of the seat belt through preventing a surface treating member coated on the seat belt from being released from the seat belt. CONSTITUTION: A surface treating member(h) is coated on a seat belt for protecting an occupant from being damaged. The surface treating member(h) includes polyester and an ester based resin. The coated resin is completely dissolved and thermally treated such that the resin is penetrated into a raw fabric(j) of the seat belt. By forming the surface treating member(h) using polyester and the ester based resin, the elasticity of a belt webbing is remarkably enhanced, so the belt is prevented from being wrinkled. In addition, the belt is not twisted so that a user conveniently uses the seat belt.
