PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital dynamic convergence control method and its system that can almost locally completely correct a convergence error and realize a high quality image used for an HDTV or the like through the convergence correction. SOLUTION: This invention provides the dynamic convergence correction device of a digital control system to correct an optional convergence error state of screen in a deflection yoke of a CRT screen device, especially provides the digital dynamic convergence control method and its system that is structured to receive external correction data, store the data to a memory, use a video synchronizing signal to read the correction data from the memory in matching with a screen scanning point of time, convert the data into a voltage or a current and output the voltage or current to a magnetic field adjustment coil so as to apply individual and independent convergence correction to each cross point of a cross hatch pattern on the screen, and the system accesses some control points defined at each cross point of the screen attended with the cross hatch pattern for convergence adjustment and applies a control voltage or a control current to 2-pole, 4-pole and 6-pole magnetic field adjustment coils in matching with screen scanning timing to each control point through the access. |
