<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network access system that attains access, independently of configuration or the like of an object network, can markedly reduce a kind of a required protocol conversion function and realize inter-network access at a high-speed. SOLUTION: The network access system is provided with a device, that sets an ATM connection to an inter-network communication path between network access devices and manages the ATM connection; a device that applies protocol conversion to information used for communication between its own network and the inter-network communication path in compliance with the ATM protocol; a device that includes a switch connected to the devices above and selects the inter-network communication path to be connected to the protocol converter among inter-network communication paths, on the basis of the destination of the information transmitted from its own network to the inter- network communication path; and a device that provides prescribed communication service quality to the ATM connection set in the inter-network communication paths.</p> |
