PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for offering prayers at shrines and temples by proxy, using dedicated send-out e-mail forms for offering prayers by proxy and reply e-mail forms for offering prayers by proxy. SOLUTION: Send-out e-mail forms and replay e-mail forms are prepared. Agents are established on the side of clients for proxy prayer offering and on the side of shrines and temples, and an administrative center for administering and controlling the agents and the system is also established. The send-out e-mail forms are used for the clients for proxy prayer offering to write their prayers therein and are to be sent to the shrines and temples through the agents. Invocation is to be made for the reply e-mail forms at the shrines and temples and the reply e-mail forms are to be returned to the clients for proxy prayer offering through the agents (1). The clients for proxy prayer offering write their prayers in send-out e-mail forms they purchases from the agents and send the forms to the shrines and temples through the agents. Invocation is made at the shrines and temples, and the reply e-mail forms certifying the invocation are returned to the clients for proxy prayer offering through the agents. The agents transmit data concerned to the administrative center, and the administrative center administers and controls the agents and the system. All of these operations are carried out in a centralized manner through a network using computers.
