PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color cathode-ray tube, in which scattering of the cut-off voltage between the three electron guns is suppressed in the following case; when a cathode support cylinder housing a cathode that constitutes the inline type three electron guns is welded and fixed at the bent part of a cathode support strap and an insulating support body that is heated and softened is pressed in and fixed to this cathode support strap, thermal expansion is brought about and slippage occurs between each cathode and the central axis of the first grid beam-passing hole opening; and scattering of the cut-off voltage occurs between the three electron guns. SOLUTION: A cathode support cylinder 24 housing the cathode K is fixed and held by a bent part 25, provided at the central portion of the cathode support strap 26 and a plate 28 having a nearly semi-cylindrical bent face as the bent part 25, by welding the plate 28 and the cathode support cylinder 24 respectively, and the plate 28 and the cathode support strap 26 respectively.
