PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine more usable when the operation condition is changed by forecasting the sales demand based on the past sales. SOLUTION: An operation changing means 33 changes the operation condition between the normal operation mode to the energy saving mode which requires less energy consumption than the normal operation mode. A memory means 38 stores the sales record by time zone. A control means 31 deduces the normal operation time zones from the sales record by time zone stored in the memory means 38. The operation changing means is controlled by setting time zones with a prescribed period of time added before the first time zone and after the last time zone as the normal operation time zones, and setting the time zones other than the normal operation time zones as the energy saving operation time zones.
