New biotin derivatives (I) Biotin derivatives of formula (I) are new. R1 = a specific compound, (e.g. being estradiol hemisuccinate, estradiol derivatives, N-acetyl-S-farnesyl cystein, N-acetyl-S-geranyl geranyl cystein, and oleic acid); X1 = a hydrocarbon chain of 1-10C atoms which may be substituted and may contain one or more carbonyl, oxycarbonyl, and/or NH groups; Y = 1-5C hydrocarbon chain; R2 = H or a protecting group Independent claims are also included for: (1) the use of (I) as vectors allowing the introduction of the specific compound into target cells in order to detect proteins and other molecules or to introduce the specific compound for therapeutic purposes; (2) preparation of (I); (3) nucleotide sequence coding a fusion protein comprising BCCP (Biotin Carboxylase Carrier Protein) and a disclosing protein.
