PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate acceptance inspection and to decrease the large man-hour needed for the acceptance inspection. SOLUTION: The delivered component quality guarantee system which carries out an acceptance inspection of delivered components receives inspection data on the component from the component manufacturer by electronic mail, calculates a process capability index Cpk from the inspection data, decides whether or not the acceptance inspection is passed according to the calculated process capability index Cpk, and e-mails the result to the component manufacturer. Consequently, the high-quality reception of the component and the speedy, labor-saving reception of the component are enabled. |
