PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone set which realizes hands free call without permitting a user to purchase parts which are separately sold. SOLUTION: The portable telephone set is provided with a speaker microphone 1 which can be attached/detached to/from a main body 2 and can communicate with a line through the main body 2 by radio-communicating with the main body 2 in a state where the microphone is removed from the main body 2.
