PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device, in which the information can be stably reproduced even when a radial tilt is generated and also the information on adjacent tracks is never erased at the time of recording operation. SOLUTION: By using the disk 100 having the 1st area where pit lines are formed at the position shifted left and right from a center of the track formed with the unevenness, and the 2nd area whereon the track is formed by the pit line, a motor 150 is driven so that the amplitude of a reproduced signal becomes maximum in the 2nd area, and a transfer table 115 is settled to the holding state after tilted, then the angle detection error of an angle detection signal is adjusted in accordance with the output of an angle detection circuit 151, at the time of performing the tracking control based on the output of a 1st TE generating circuit 120 at the nearby 1st area and the correction by the output of a 2nd TE generating circuit 137.
