PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and inexpensive disk player. SOLUTION: The position of a hinge shaft 15 of a clamping arm 16 which is opened and closed like a hinge is brought closer to the surface of a turntable 13 as much as possible, and an upper guide plate 31 is so set that an allowable minimum gap may be secured between the lower face of a clamp ring 12 and the upper face of a disk 33b and between a projecting boss 13a in the center of the turntable 13 and the lower face of the disk 33b, and the disk 33b is obliquely introduced to reduce dimensions in the perpendicular direction.
