Tire condition monitoring procedure, comprises wear indicators embedded in tire and emitting signal when on or close to contact surface. The procedure consists of incorporating or embedding wear indicators in the body of a tire which emit a characteristic and noticeable signal when they are on or close to the tire's contact surface. The indicators can be in the form of fine or coarse particles, inserts of variable size or shape, or parts of the tire tread, operating mechanically, electro- magnetically or optically, and the signals they emit can be relayed to a warning instrument the vehicle dashboard. |
