PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and securely prevent the situation wherein stolen automobiles and stolen articles are openly distributed. SOLUTION: In the engine room of an automobile 7, a body number is stamped and a QR code 1c including data of the number represented in an encoded form, the manufacture year, and model data is stamped. On an automobile inspection certificate 2, a QR code 2a including ciphered data generated by ciphering respective data on the manufacture year, model, etc., in addition to the body number of the corresponding automobile 7 by algorithm different from that of the side of the automobile 7 is printed. Handy terminals 4 and 9 compare the vehicle body number obtained by deciphering the ciphered data in the QR code 1c read out of the side of the automobile 7 with the body number stamped in a character string on the automobile 7 and compares the body number obtained from the QR code 1c with the body number obtained by deciphering the ciphered data in the QR code 2a read out of the side of the automobile inspection certificate 2. |
