PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a pin from being wrenched when a female connector is obliquely inserted into a shunt. SOLUTION: The shunt 300 is fitted in a cylindrical socket 110, which is recessedly formed in the outer surface of a housing 100 of an inflator, to shunt a pair of pins 210 of a squib 200, the pair of pins 210 standing on a bottom face 111 is the center of the socket and extending to near an opening 112. The shunt 300 has, at the center thereof, a circular wall 310 having a fitting hole 340 into which the pins come in from the bottom side and the female connector 400 is fitted from the top surface side, and a shout bar 390 provided on the circular wall in a manner that it contacts both pins when the shunt is fitted into the socket, and it is pushed by the female connector and moves away from the pins when the female connector is fitted into the fitting hole. The height of the circular wall equals or exceeds the value obtained by adding the insertion depth of the female connector along the pin axis in the fitting hole, when obliquely inserted, and the height of the pins from the bottom face of the socket.
|
