PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a talking system utilizing a talking microphone being fixed at a specified position around the mouth in which uncomfortable physiological sound, e.g. sneeze, cough or hawk, is prevented from being transmitted to a person on the other end of the line. SOLUTION: The talking system comprises a talking microphone 11, a speaker 12 and a communication unit 4 for amplifying the output signal from the talking microphone. The communication unit 4 comprises means 45p and for 45d amplifying an input signal and outputting the amplified signal, and means 48 for controlling the amplification factor of the amplifying means 45p and for 45d in response to an undue input signal. When an undue input signal is detected, the control means 48 controls the amplification factor of the amplifying means 45p and for 45d such that the reproduced sound of the input signal is attenuated to a specified level for a predetermined time. |
