PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmission system that can receive data normally, without causing data errors. SOLUTION: A reception circuit provided in a transmitter consists of resistors 13, 14, that are connected in series and the connecting point of which provides a reference voltage (Vref); a differential receiver 15 that receives a received signal as an noninverting input, receives the reference voltage at the connecting point of the resistors 13, 14 as an inverting input, compares the voltage at the noninverting input with the voltage at the inverting input, outputs a level '1', when the voltage of the noninverting input is higher than the voltage of the inverting input and outputs a level '0', when the noninverting input voltage is lower than the inverting input voltage; an LPF(low-pass filter) 11 that passes low frequency components of the received signal, as they are and attenuates the high-frequency components of the received signal; and a resistor 12, whose one terminal is connected to an output of the LPF 11 and the other terminal of which is connected to the connecting point of the resistors 13, 14.
