PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a real time monitoring system, a control method thereof, and a program storage medium. SOLUTION: In this real time monitoring system, a real time communication is performed with at least one external apparatus including medical apparatus to control and/or state-display the external apparatus. This system comprises a communicating means with the external apparatus, a display means for displaying the state of the external apparatus, a storage means for storing data for at least one past communication obtained by the communicating means, a comparing means for comparing the data for the present communication with the past data, and a control means for controlling the contents to be displayed on the display means on the basis of the signal from the comparing means. The comparing means minimizes the signal quantity to be transmitted to the control means when the past communication data is equal to the present communication data, compared with the time when the past communication data is different from the present communication data. |
