PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an uninterruptible power supply of a simplified structure, which can assure operation of an electronic device when an input power supply fails in cooperation with a power supply for driving the electronic device, while monitoring the conditions of a secondary battery. SOLUTION: A power for charging the secondary battery BAT of a secondary battery unit 20 is obtained from a tertiary coil T3 of an insulated transformer of the power source 10, to obtain an output of the predetermined voltage to a secondary coil T2 by driving a primary coil T1 of the insulated transformer T; and when an input power of the power source is failed, the tertiary coil is driven using the charging power of the secondary battery to generate and output of a prescribed voltage. Moreover, the secondary battery unit is provided with a function to control the charging operation of the secondary coil, by detecting the condition of the secondary battery BAT and to obtain the charging condition and the battery service life, to notify such information to an external electronic device. |
