摘要 A road vehicle (1) has a drive train containing an internal combustion engine (2), a clutch unit (3) and a gear (4). Via a drive shaft (5) and a differential (6), the wheels (7) of the vehicle are driven. A transmission selection device (8) comprises a selector lever with a sensor (9) and a control device (10,11). Where the latter is divided into part areas in its structural and/or functional form(s), these can be connected with each other by a CAN bus (12) or another electrical connection for data exchange. The control device controls the automated operation of the gear and/or the couplings (13,14) belonging to the clutch unit or the engine, the engine torque, the selection of the gear transmission, a parking position or a neutral position of the gear or the torque transmittable from the couplings. The couplings are automatically operated by an actuator (15) and this can occur independently of each other. A double clutch can be employed, which is connected with the engine via a vibration damper.
