<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte level adjusting method for a lead-acid battery system capable of quickly stabilizing an electrolyte level in the specified range with a simple device and a simple method after completion of charging and reducing the dispersion of electrolyte levels. SOLUTION: A plurality of lead-acid batteries are charged and then discharged, compressed air is fed into the batteries to swell battery containers, vibration or shock is applied to the batteries, the batteries are assembled in a battery system, and the amount of an electrolyte is adjusted so that the electrolyte level is within the specified range.</p> |
